History:
Stephen McCune Upholstery is the oldest continuously operated shop in Texas. In 1923, Mr. McCune started a small shop moved in the early 30's to a strip of land between the San Antonio River and an acequia that fed the Alamo. Today, the shop is well known among those desiring quality custom upholstered furniture & refinishing, durable designer fabrics & leather and excellent craftsmanship. Services have expanded to include the coastal areas around Corpus Christi, resort communities, and Hill Country ranches. If you have visited some of the finer homes around San Antonio, there is a good chance you have seen some of Stephen McCune Upholstery's quality work.
